Why should they, any more than the rest of the folk on the AGW gravy-train, raise any queries over the basis of the science that is capable of creating a new lucrative bubble to take the place of the recent sham/mortgage property bubble that almost brought the world financial system down? It must have looked like the answer to the wildest dreams of the wide boys. Maybe it still is.
