Hartbreaking Photos from China

Freelance Chinese photographer Lu Guang is this year’s recipient of the W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography for his project, “Pollution in China.” The New York Times Lens blog has an interesting write up, complete with the winning photos. Check it out.

This is the sort of hellish pollution that is costing lives and which should be tackled as a priority.

Enabling plutocrats to trade in an odourless, clean, plant-fertilizing, trace gas - CO2 - is travesty and a scam enabled by the useful idiots who "want to do something to save the planet". Well, ETSs are NOT it.

Criminal cases against fraudsters battening on stupid emissions trading schemes are already being brought. See below.
