Very thoughtful interview. The 15 second sound bites we get on the BBC are an insult to the enquiring mind. This man has time to develop his ideas without Paxman yapping at his heels.

He is Professor and Head of the School of Government at the University of Tasmania. Expert reviewer for the the United Nation's IPPC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Fourth Assessment Report: Climate Change and Key Vulnerabilities. He is author of "Science and Public Policy: The Virtuous Corruption of Virtual Environmental Science".
